There were 1000 fans for each of the Saturday daytime and evening events and on Sunday (an added day) were close to 700 fans - one of the biggest events in a while and they were ALL GL fans. There were 1000 fans for each of the Saturday daytime and evening events and on Sunday (an added day) were close to 700 fans - one of the biggest events in a while and they were ALL GL fans. They were treated to clips of GL old and new, interaction with the actors as many of the fans did skits with them, photos, concert by Bradley Cole, Robert Newman, Kim Zimmer, Ron Raines, Adam Reist (director at GL). Also Adam told the fans about the day of an actor and how the show was shot. Showed himself in a party scene so cues could be handed out. Merchandise galore was available. Benefiting from the event was The Young Women's Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation and also sponsoring the event was Magee Women's Hospital. So Long Springfield - Guiding Light actors - Kim Zimmer, Gina Tognoni along with GL director Adam Reist and the rest of the GL castmembers Robert Newman, Bradley Cole, Jordan Clarke, Frank Dicopoulos, Jeff Branson, Daniel Cosgrove, Tom Pelphrey (SURPRISE GUEST), Grant Aleksander, Ron Raines come to see fans at the Hyatt Regency Pittsburgh International Airport in Pittsburgh, PA. during the weekend of October 24 and 25, 2009.
