Daytime's TV and Broadway stars get involved in helping launch Jane Elissa's "Hats For Health" to promote awareness and to raise money for Leukemia/Lymphoma cancer research and patient aid. The Hats For Health will be available through Jane Elissa at 212-962-5225 and through the new website "Hats For Health".
Last year Kristen Alderson received the Charlotte Meyers volunteer recognition award for her support of the Jane Elissa Extravaganza. All proceeds raised from the event are contributed to the Jane Elissa Endowment Fund at the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society. This year the Extravaganza sponsored by Sterling National Bank, will be held on Tuesday, October 20 at the New York Marriott Marquis Hotel. Performances by Sean McDermott (formerly "Hart Jessup" from Guiding Light) and star of Miss Saigon and Grease and other Broadway and Daytime TV celebrities will attend the event and will be wearing Jane Elissa fashions and Hats For Health.
